Twin City Garden Club members met on April 26, 2016 to create some beautiful planters at the Boys & Girls Club at 2100 Reynolds Park Road in Winston-Salem. Members Rosalie Horton and Francie Powers coordinated the event.
We met with Margaret Savoca, a nutrition researcher responsible for developing the garden and healthy snacks programs at the Boys & Girls Club. She described the mission of the club and offered insights to the importance of volunteers.
