2015-2016 Charitable Giving Report
by Nancy Osborn, Chair

The Twin City Garden Club Charitable Giving Committee met on February 23rd to discuss requests for donations to national, state and local organizations.  The club’s largest fund raiser is our Christmas Luncheon.  We had a budget of $4,000 and also $390.00 which was collected from The Conservation Committee.  The members of the committee were Nancy Osborn (Chairman) Patty Brown, Lucinda Jones, Scottie Neill, Sally Corpening and Greer Cawood.

The Twin City Garden Club desires to give back to our community by awarding donations to mission-related causes.  The committee has honored the guidelines set forth by the Ad Hoc Committee to give to fewer organizations in order to make a bigger impact with our giving.
